IDOD Systems
LLC was formed with the sole purpose of finding a way to galvanize both the
inner and outer diameters of pipe as a continuous integral in-line pipe
producing process. The
ultimate goal - to eliminate the defects inherent in the crude 150 year-old
standard hot dip process.
The Goal has been completed!!
The process has been producing fully galvanized
pipe product – primarily for the Fire Protection Industry in the US, and has
been licensed for production in Europe.
The firm's
cadre is a group of world class in-line pipe production experts led by Ted Krengel, founder and long-time
CEO of Allied Tube & Conduit Corporation. Ted is the inventor of the In-Line OD Galvanizing / ID
Painting process used worldwide – and still available through IDOD Systems - OD Zinc / ID Paint In-Line Process. Ted
is joined in the management of IDOD by President Josh Krengel, A Marketing and Sales
leader in the Tube and Pipe Industry, and Vice President Curt Brown, an engineer with 15 years
of leading edge in-line tube production experience, who leads a team of
engineering and production experts who also enjoy peerless reputations.
The Fire Protection Sprinkler Pipe:
GAL• 5 and Gal• 7 are the
fruition of years of intensive effort by this group, backed by a substantial
capital investment. Over this period extensive experimentation led to
acquisition of numerous patents and conclusive validation of their practical viability
in a pilot plant operation. GAL• 5 and
GAL• 7 have been successfully sold into the Fire
Protection Industry since 1999.
IDOD Systems is a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, National
Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and American Fire Sprinkler Association
(AFSA.)
